 Cancellation Policy

At Temora Massage Therapy Clinic, we value and respect the time of both our clients and therapists. To ensure the smooth operation of our clinic and provide the best possible service to all, we have implemented the following cancellation policy:
 

  1. No-Show Policy:

    • In the event of a no-show, where a client fails to arrive for a scheduled appointment without prior notification, the client will be charged the full fee of the missed appointment.
       

  2. Late Cancellation Policy:

    • Cancellations made within 4 hours of the scheduled appointment time may be subject to a cancellation fee.

    • Clients who cancel within this 4-hour window may be charged 50% of the appointment fee.
       

  3. Cancellation Notification:

    • We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we appreciate prompt communication in such cases.

    • To cancel or reschedule an appointment, clients are required to provide notice at least 4 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time.

    • Notifications can be made by messaging our clinic directly at [0438 487 686] or direct email to temoramassagetherapyclinic@gmail.com.
       

  4. Exceptions:

    • Exceptions to the cancellation policy may be made on a case-by-case basis in situations of emergency or extenuating circumstances.
       

  5. Rescheduling:

    • Clients are encouraged to reschedule appointments with as much notice as possible to accommodate both their needs and the availability of our therapists.
       

  6. Repeat Offenders:

    • Clients who frequently violate the cancellation policy may be required to pre-pay for future appointments or may be subject to additional policies to ensure fair scheduling for all clients.
       

  7. Clinic Discretion:

    • Temora Massage Therapy Clinic reserves the right to make exceptions or adjustments to the cancellation policy under unique or special circumstances.

How do I book an appointment?

Booking an appointment is easy. You can text our clinic directly at 0438 487 686, message us on Facebook @temoramassage or click the "Book Online" button to book online.

Our friendly staff will assist you in finding a suitable time for your massage. At present, we are available for appointments on Monday, Friday and Saturday, which is subject to change.

How should I prepare for my massage session?

Wear comfortable clothing and arrive a few minutes early to allow time for check-in. Communicate any specific health concerns or preferences during the consultation. You'll have privacy to undress to your comfort level before the massage, and you'll be appropriately draped throughout the session.

Is there parking available at the clinic?

Yes, we provide convenient parking for our clients. The closest parking is in the Woolworths carpark on Hoskins Street.

We are located inside Star Smile Family Dental next to Harvest Chemists, opposite Harvey Norman.

Are gift certificates available?

Yes, we offer gift certificates for our massage services. They make excellent presents for special occasions or as a thoughtful gesture for a loved one's self-care. Both physical and digital vouchers can be arranged. Get in touch today to organise yours.

Can I claim massage on my private health insurance directly? 

Yes! All REMEDIAL MASSAGE appointment sessions may have rebates available from your private health fund. At this time, we do not directly bill insurance. However, we can provide you with a receipt that you can submit to your insurance provider for imbursement. Please check with your insurance company for coverage details.

Can I have a massage if I am pregnant? 

Absolutely. We offer prenatal massage specifically designed for expectant parents. Our therapists are specially trained to provide a safe and comfortable experience for pregnant clients, at all stages of pregnancy. Be sure to inform us of your pregnancy during the consultation so we can tailor the session accordingly. 

We are happy to work with your prenatal care team to ensure your safe and healthy journey through your pregnancy and into your post-natal period, after baby is born.

How often should I have a massage for optimal benefits? 

The frequency of massage sessions depends on individual needs and goals. Many clients benefit from a monthly schedule for maintenance, while others may choose more frequent sessions for specific issues. Your therapist can provide guidance based on your unique situation.

Is it normal to feel sore after a massage? 

It's not uncommon to experience some mild soreness, especially after a deep tissue massage. This is a normal response as the body releases tension. Drinking plenty of water and applying heat with a hot water bottle, or warm shower and bath to the affected area can help alleviate any post-massage soreness.
